Pluto IV

Pluto returns for his 4th appearance. This is a dollar store find in 2022 and is part of small set which incudes 2 Mickeys, Minnie, & Donald; although Pluto is the only one skating.

 

Dive Dude

It took a bit of detective work but I was finally able to ascertain that this is a Dive Dude from Swimways in 2006. These are a set of pool toy figures with large feet (or a skateboard in this case) that act as a propeller in the water, sending him spinning as he hurdles to the bottom.

 

Pikachu IV

Pikachu returns for his 4th appearance, this time almost certainly a bootleg from the 90s. See the full package below.

Easter Pet

The 2 Function, Pull & Go Easter Pet Skate Board Bunny figure from 1988. This figure was released by Soma who also made a set of standard figures under the moniker X-Pro Action Deck (one of which has been posted here). There was also a series of Troll dolls riding these same boards. Later, sometime in the 2000s, Soma updated the boards to a more popsicle stick shape and released a new set of figures along with a new Easter bunny (featured here last Easter). 

Snoopy XV

Snoopy returning for his 15th solo appearance! This time as a surprise figure from 2009 by BIP candy and toys, a Dutch confectionery and toy company. Check the Peanuts tag for more Snoopy!

 

Albert & Son Boy

Albert & Son skateboard figure. R.L. Albert and Son is a confectionery importer and marketing company. This figure has no date but seems like probably '70s, possibly early '80s. He's making a cardinal sin of skating in open-toed shoes.

 

Snoopy XIV

Snoopy returns with this straw holder. This figure has no markings and I have no further info on him, so just enjoy his radness.

 

Bart Simpson XIX

Bart returns for his 19th appearance! Not much info on this guy. He has a 1991 copyright on his butt and board, but I'm not exactly sure if that is when the toy is from. It's probably on the early side since he's wearing a blue shirt though. It's similar to his 2nd appearance, although he's got more a fish shaped board (and derpy eyes).

Garfield IX

Garfield looking pretty tuff, reminiscent of his last poochiefied appearance. No info on this guy beyond a PAWS marking on the bottom.

 

Cardboard Sneakers

These guys are from the Cardboard Sneaker series 1 released in 2005. There were 8 figures in the set but I believe these were the only 2 skateboarders.

 

Snoopy XIII

Snoopy (or presumably Joe Cool since he has sunglasses) cruising along at top speed. He's got a UFS marking on his back but I'm unable to find any further info on him.

 

Farty Flip

Farty Flip from the Fartist Club, a 2018 toy line. He makes a variety of farts (10 different!) when you pull his finger. There's a lot going on with this one but I will say I like the toilet seat deck.

WM figures

I have no info on these guys. They have a WM mark on the back. I think they were probably vending machine figures. I'm not even 100% sure they actually came with skateboards or if those were paired with them later. The one dude has a helmet so I'm thinking the skateboards belong to them.

 

Agro

Agro, the muppet-like host of an Australian's kids show (Agro's Cartoon Connection) that aired from 1989-1997. This figure is a 1989 premium from that Aussie fast food chain Hungry Jack's.

 

Shamu

Shamu, Seaworld's killer whale, seen here riding a skateboard somehow. Gotta love it. The original Shamu lived at Seaworld from 1965 to her death in 1971. The Shamu name continued for different Orcas until the shows stopped in the 2010s. No date on this guy but anecdotal sources have 1987 & 1989 on similar figures (including a surfing Shamu and a racecar driving Shamu).

 

Molly My Childhood

Molly My Childhood X Pop Mart 2021 skateboarding figure titled "Never Gave Up." Pop Mart seems to be coming out with a ton of figures from different series that include a skateboarder. They probably won't all make it here but I'll post 'em if I get 'em.

 

Skateboard Acrobat II

The Skateboard Acrobat returns, this time in cat form (you can be forgiven thinking this might be a fox or dog). I'm not sure what other animals might be out here in the skateboard acrobat or action animal lines, but so far we've seen a giraffe, rabbit, dog, & mouse.
