Snoopy in ornament form. No info on this guy. Snoopy continues to reign supreme in sheer number of skate toys, with Garfield and Bart Simpson not really all that close behind.

Mcdonald's Pin

Have you had your break today? McDonald's enamel pin. Not sure when this is from, but has a 90s or early 00s vibe I think.

Roller Riders Boarder Buds

Roller Riders Boarder Buds from Kids Stuff marketing in 2020. Nothing all too exciting although there are some weird stances.

 

Pluto III

Pluto returns! This is Pluto's 3rd appearance and 2nd one in figure form. This one is an Italian figure (I think) and is part of the same set as this Goofy.

 

Kinder Egg

This dude is a Kinder Egg where you decorate the egg itself with the contents. From 1983.

Lino

Lino is the mascot for Linola Shampoo out of Germany. No date or other info on this guy.

Gnarly Norman

Gnarly Norman is one of three figures put out by ARC in the '80s or '90s under the title "Skateboard Monsters." The other two are Hip Hop Harry and Twisted Tommy.

Yup Yup Brown

Yup Yup Brown from 'tudes, the pens with attitude. These pens were made in 2010 and rank among the weirder / cheesier items that have appeared here.

Good Luck Troll

Funko Pop blind box Good Luck Troll from 2020. This guy had a 1/24 likelihood. Troll Dolls have featured here twice before.

Looney Tunes Skate Board Set

Looney Tunes Skateboard Set with Pull-Back Action by Apollo. This set was released in 1991 in the UK & features six figures. Apollo released a few other figures on this pull-back skateboard, including Mario (previously featured on BPA) and The Simpsons.

Boarder Frank II

The Boarder Frank returns, in bendy form. Once again, he's part of a set called Fantastic Franks from Kid Stuff Marketing. The original version was from 2009. I think this version is 2019. His back foot is connected so he's forever pushing mongo.

Other skateboarding hot dogs include The Delicious One & the Franksters.

Average Smurf

This skateboard was part of the Escape from New York playset, which was a tie-in to the 2011 Smurfs movie. The Smurf was from the previous year and was just marketed as "Smurf" with no other name. Guess he's Average Smurf. Check the Smurf tag for a bunch of other Smurf stuff.

Sam "Squid" Dullard II

Sam "Squid" Dullard returns for his 2nd appearance on BPA. This one is an exceedingly weak outing featuring a motorized longboard and heelies. Squid is from the Nickelodeon show Rocket Power and is frequently mistaken for a Rugrat. This is figure is from 2002 and was a Burger King Jr Meal toy. There are three other figures in the set who come with a variety of extreme boards, such a dirt board, wind-surfboard, wakeboard, snowboard, scooter, and a regular skateboard.

Buddy the Skate Dog

Buddy the Skate Dog. Found at Goodwill (but not purchased). This guy was radio controlled and was released around 2012. Those sunglasses really give him a nice schmear of surfer.

Chelsea

Barbie's friend Chelsea who apparently has her own club (as well as her own skating dog). Found in the wild (but not purchased) in 2019.

Bart Simpson X

I went on a Bart kick a bit ago during one of FXX's every Simpsons ever marathon and picked up all the various Bart's from different fast food restaurants as well as a few others. Bart may end up passing Garfield for 2nd place in most toys here. Anywho, here's a shirtless Bart from Burger King in 2007. Hit the Simpsons label below for more Barts (and a Poochie).

Felix IV

Felix returns for his 4th appearance. This is not technically a skateboarding toy as I don't think the skateboard and figure came together, but I found them together so it counts for enough for me. Previous Felix appearance: enamel pin, enamel pin II, figure.

Hello Kitty IV

Hello Kitty makes her fourth appearance here on BPA. This time as a charm (year unknown). This is almost identical to her 2nd appearance. Her other appearances were as a figure and a zipper pull. Her friend Dear Daniel also showed up on BPA.

Bootleg Smurf

You gotta love this dude. Obviously fake but still cruising. Look at the nose on that board! He's dated 1982.

Tang Trio

The Tang Trio were a group of four (?) mascots for Tang drink mix. They included Flap the Rapper (who I believe this is), Lance, Tag, & Awesome Annie. This pin is dated 1988.

An Extremely Goofy Movie

The top Max figure was previously featured here but I came across the entire set at a thrift store, including the launchers. This set is from McDonalds and was released in 2000 to promote An Extremely Goofy Movie (as previously noted this is an unofficial remake of Back to School). It includes the three skaters here (Max, Goofy, and Pete), as well as three rollerbladers and two bikers. This may come as a shock to you but Pete is a cat. That's right, the Ghost of Christmas Future is a cat.

Bart Simpson IX

Bart returns with a figure that I know little about. He's got a better skating pose than usual though. He's dated 1998 on his back. I can't find any further info on what set or where he's from. Probably my favorite Bart.

Belt Buckle XVI

No markings on this guy, just a straight forward vintage skateboard belt buckle.

Super Dolly

Super Dolly from YOLO toys, the same company that brought you the Super Mack skateboarding hamburger. This guy was made in 1989 and, like Super Mack, promises you "hard action" such as "sliding, listing, whirling, jumping, etc." The box art is pretty rad, with Dolly sporting a flipped up hat on the cover and a ramp in the background. The side looks like he might be thinking about a smith grind.

Tech Deck Dudes

Tech Deck Dudes came back in 2019 with these smaller figures, which I personally like better than the original (although the original line partnered with some skate companies to make figures for World Industries, Pig Wheels, Blind, and Toy Machine). I found these guys on clearance and picked up a bunch, although it's not a complete set.

Tweety & Kitty

These two were part of a double charm from 2002. This may seem like an odd pairing but there are apparently a bunch of things featuring the two of these.
