Pikachu VI

One more possible bootleg Pikachu from the '90s (presumably). This one is probably my least favorite (check 'em all out below).

Pikachu V

Pikachu returns with a figure from the same series as his last appearance. I was pretty certain these were boots but now I'm not so sure - possibly just low quality in a rush to get merchandise out as fast as possible. Or maybe just a boot.

Goofy IX

Goofy's 9th appearance here and featuring by far his worst style on a board yet. This is part of a set that I originally through was only Mickey and Minnie. A sticker on the bottom shows he was sold at Disney Parks and Resorts in Anaheim, CA. Assuming the set was exclusive to park stores. Makes me wonder who else was part of the set.

Pikachu IV

Pikachu returns for his 4th appearance, this time almost certainly a bootleg from the 90s. See the full package below.

Bart Simpson XIX

Bart returns for his 19th appearance! Not much info on this guy. He has a 1991 copyright on his butt and board, but I'm not exactly sure if that is when the toy is from. It's probably on the early side since he's wearing a blue shirt though. It's similar to his 2nd appearance, although he's got more a fish shaped board (and derpy eyes).

Wheel Cool Brother

"You're a Wheel Cool Brother" Christmas ornament made by Enesco in 1994. He's hauling quite a bit on his "Super Bro!" skateboard, so much so that it has thrown off his stance quite a bit.

Curro

Curro was the mascot for the 1992 World Expo in Seville, Spain. This figure is not one often seen and I was excited to come across it. Took me a bit to figure out who he even was. There seems to be a bit of a cult fan club around him.

Wishbone

Not sure when this Wishbone figure is from but I'm guessing the 90s since that is when his television show aired. It appears to be part of some set at the bottom of hit deck seems like it wants to attach to something.

Edit: This figure was originally attached to a curly straw although I have yet to ascertain if this was part of a promotion or sold separately.

Bart Simpson XVIII

Bart returns for the 18th time, and you'd be forgiven for thinking this one might be a bootleg. It's not though - it's a 1999 figure from Dolcerie Veneziane, an Italian chocolatier who put out a Kinder-like Simpsons set. The set includes the family, with Homer & Marge sitting on each side of the couch. It also included the TV and both Santa's Little Helper and Snowball II.

Diddl

Diddl is a German comic book character created in 1990. He's a white jumping mouse, with extra large feet & ears. I'm unable to get a year for this figure, but no website on the box so I'm guessing 90s. He's listed as figure 37.

Skateboard Actyl

The Skateboard Actyl is a skateboarding dinosaur from the Daring Dinos Adventurers line released by Maeritus in 1993. I think the card back lays it all out pretty clearly:

Daring Dinos are mutant dinos that came to life when a mad scientist accidentally went back in time to the Jurassic Period and the monster period simultaneously when he pushed the wrong button on this time machine.

There you have it - pretty straight forward.

Cabbage Patch Kid III

The third appearance for Cabbage Patch Kids, this time as a keychain. He's skating right out of the cabbage patch! He also appears to be skating right out of the 80s but this guy is actually from 1997.

Baby Baby

Baby Baby from the Little Bobdog world, featured in figure form here on BPA last week and pin form a bit ago. This wind up figure was released in 1999 by 7-Eleven.

Little Bobdog II

Little Bobdog returns in figure form from 1999. His previous appearance was in pin form. Little Bobdog is the corporate mascot of Sunward Co., LTD. This figure is part of a "sporty dog" series released by Borgmann (which appears to be similar to Kinder?)

Ferdinand

Ferdinand is a large dachshund featured in Tom & Jerry: The Movie from 1992. He is too big to use his legs so he uses a skateboard to get around.

Benny Beule II

Benny Beule from the 1992 Crazy Crocos Kinder set. Benny made a previous appearance here as a skateboard racer figure from 1997.

Cabbage Patch Kid II

This figure's twin was previously featured here a few years ago. I didn't realize more than 1 figure was made until I found this one. Maybe there are more out there? This figure was made in 1991 by Applause and features their standard skateboard which is also ridden by Snuffleupagus and Alice, Plucky Duck and a Roll-Along Smurf.

Targeteers

Targeteers were toys given out at Target Food Avenue in 1992, an in-store food mart in Target stores. Their names are (clockwise from top left) Danielle, Ramon, Ashley, & Buddy. The skateboards were packaged separately and have 2 pegs, allowing figures to ride in the middle or on the nose, or to allow 2 figures to ride tandem.

Note: These figures are very similar to the Bonnie Series by Silverlit, who also have a skateboarding figure & whose dog rides on the front peg.

Bart Simpson XIII

Bart Simpson returning for his 13th appearance, which is beginning to challenge Snoopy as the king of skate toys. Snoopy has some appearance in Peanuts sets so that gives him the extra numbers. This was a keychain from 1999. He's once again wearing that blue shirt. There are numerous theories on why so many toys have bart in blue. Maybe someone will find the truth someday.

Check the Simpsons tag for more Bart.
